Slow Magic Resize Privacy Policy

Data collected

None. Slow Magic Resize does not collect personal information, contact information, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, location, purchases, browsing history, search history, or user content on a developer-controlled server. No data is linked to an identity or used for tracking.

Photos and image processing

You may choose a photo through Apple's system PhotosPicker or use a bundled demo image. A selected photo is provided to Slow Magic Resize only after your action and is processed locally for resizing, Fit or Fill placement, sharpening, noise reduction, exposure, contrast, saturation, straightening, or collage composition.

Slow Magic Resize does not upload selected photos. Image data may remain in memory during an active edit. When you render an output, the app prepares an app-owned local file and presents the iOS share sheet. An output leaves the app only when you choose a destination. A destination selected in the share sheet has its own privacy practices and is not operated by Slow Magic Resize.

Local storage and retention

Slow Magic Resize stores preferences, onboarding state, lightweight project and export history, edit recipes, and milestone progress in its local app sandbox. Selected photo bytes and thumbnails are not stored in project history. The local records are used only to restore settings and progress on the same device.

You can clear project history, reset milestones, or reset all app data from Settings. Removing a Project deletes its app-owned record. Deleting Slow Magic Resize removes its sandboxed data through iOS. These actions do not delete original photos or copies you already exported to destinations outside the app.

Network transmission and external services

Apple's operating system, App Store, PhotosPicker, and share sheet are platform components governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices. Destinations you independently choose from the share sheet may transmit a file under their own policies.

Permissions

Slow Magic Resize uses PhotosPicker so you explicitly choose which photo items to provide. It does not request broad photo-library browsing access. It does not request camera, microphone, precise or approximate location, contacts, calendars, health, Bluetooth, local-network, or tracking permission.

Security

Processing and app-owned records stay within the iOS application sandbox. No method of local storage is guaranteed to be risk-free, so protect access to your device with the security controls provided by iOS. Slow Magic Resize cannot control copies after you export them to another application or service.

Children's privacy

Slow Magic Resize is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children or adults because it does not collect personal data from any user.

Regional use

The app's local functionality and data handling do not intentionally differ by region. Availability of destinations in the iOS share sheet can vary according to the applications, services, and system configuration chosen by the user.

Changes to this policy

If Slow Magic Resize changes its data practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The effective date at the top identifies the current version of this policy.
